Garden Art
My garden art is made from a high-fiber content/high-strength concrete mix and stained with commercial outdoor concrete stains which I use like paint. They can live outdoors for years and can be placed almost anywhere. Most are made from polyurethane molds which I have crafted from leaves or tiles hand carved in clay. Larger leaves are made one at a time from an original leaf. Larger leaves are installed with custom bases.
This is the largest mold I have made, 30" across and quite complex to make but polyurethane is amazing material and, with the right methods, you can create durable molds for casting concrete.
