Concrete Garden Art
My garden art is made with a high-fiber content/high-strength concrete mix and stained with commercial outdoor concrete stains which I use like watercolors. They can live outdoors for years and can be placed almost anywhere but will fade eventually in full sun. Leaves and tiles are cast in polyurethane molds. The leaves I have crafted from real leaves and tiles are hand carved in clay. Larger leaves are installed with custom bases.
This is the largest mold I have made, 30" across and quite complex to make but polyurethane is amazing material and, with the right methods, you can create durable molds for casting concrete.
